Editorial Policy / Review Policy
The International Conference on Challenges and Trends in Arts and Social Sciences (ICCTASS 2025) seeks to highlight high-quality, original research contributions from academics, researchers, students, and practitioners. The purpose of the review process is to enhance the quality of submitted manuscripts and ensure they are suitable for inclusion in the conference proceedings. Reviews should always be fair, objective, and unbiased. The decision to accept or reject a manuscript will be based strictly on the merit of its content, originality, relevance to the scope of the conference, and contribution to the field.
ICCTASS follows a double-blind review process, where both authors’ and reviewers’ identities remain anonymous to ensure impartiality. Reviewers are contacted via email and, upon agreement, are sent the assigned manuscripts through email for review. Each reviewer may be assigned up to three manuscripts across the six conference tracks (Economics, English, Media and Mass Communication, Public Health, and Social Science). This limit allows reviewers sufficient time to provide thorough and constructive feedback. Each paper will be reviewed by at least two reviewers, and if required, a third review may be sought to aid in the final decision. Reviewer comments and recommendations will guide the acceptance decision, which will be communicated to the authors by the publication committee.
Evaluation Criteria
Reviewers should decline invitations for any manuscript where a conflict of interest exists. In evaluating submissions, reviewers are encouraged to consider the following:
- Relevance of the manuscript to the conference theme and track.
- Originality and contribution to knowledge.
- Clarity of objectives and strength of arguments.
- Theoretical, methodological, and/or practical significance (academic, social, or applied).
- Ethical considerations, including appropriate approvals or consent.
- Quality of presentation and coherence of writing.
- Confirmation that the work is unpublished.
Reviewer assessments play a crucial role in maintaining the academic quality and reputation of ICCTASS.
